Recognition Scholarships and Awards Administered by the University
If the value of an award exceeds HK$13,000, the scholarship shall be open for application. This may not apply to some donations where the donor has established an approval procedure, which we have to follow. A Standing Panel of Scholarships will be set up responsible for the selection.

The Scholarships aim to support undergraduate and postgraduate students in fulfilling their early careers in curating by acquiring professional skills and gaining work experiences in museums, galleries and/or cultural institutions through short-term curatorial programmes or internships.
Eligibility and Criteria:
1. The Scholarships shall be awarded to full-time Year 3 and Year 4 undergraduate students, majoring in the BA (Honours) in Visual Studies and full time students studying in research postgraduate programme in the Department of Visual Studies.
2. Awardees in undergraduate programme should have achieved a CGPA of 3.0 or above, together with an average GPA of 3.0 or above in curatorial-related courses (please see the regulations for details).
3. Awardees in postgraduate programme should have confirmed their candidatures. If the internships will be taken up during their study periods, the approval from their chief supervisors must be sought.
4. Each applicant should have obtained an admission offer of a short-term curatorial programme or a job offer of curatorial internship issued by museums, galleries and/or cultural institutions in Hong Kong, mainland China or abroad during his/her study at Lingnan University.
No. of Award(s) and Amount: Ranging from HK$15,000 to HK$50,000 for each student, with a total value of the Scholarships is HK$120,000 per annum.

1. The Scholarships shall be awarded to non-final year full-time undergraduate students in the Department of Accountancy in which the programme(s) is/are accredited by the Institute per annum.
2. Awardees should achieve CGPA in 80% out of 4.0 (equivalent to CGPA of 3.20) or above up to the first term of the current academic year.
3. Awardees should be in good character, possess outstanding performance in extra-curricular activities.
4. Awardees should accept an undertaking that he/she will take the Institute’s CPA Qualification Programme as the first professional accounting examination after graduation.

The Institute shall present the awards at the Award Ceremony for QP top students and scholarship recipients which will be held in September each year.
