Theme: Health and Wellbeing in (Post-) Pandemic Times, 3 December 2022

International Conference
Decolonizing Sociology and Beyond: Rethinking the Critical Lexicon, 9–10 February 2023

The conference brought together distinguished scholars in Australia, Brazil, France, Germany, India, Japan, Korea, Russia, Singapore and South Africa to revisit the history of sociology and propose some alternative ways of doing sociological research and teaching, particularly in non-Western settings. The conference provided a great opportunity for staff, especially students, to learn from and interact with multiple big scholars; it was a rather rare opportunity. The high-quality discussions and presentations were thought-provoking.
