Singapore and Malaysia Study Tour 2024/25

To broaden your horizons on the global business environment and enhance your understanding of the role of digital transformation in business, the Taught Postgraduate Programmes Office (TPO) will organize a Study Tour to Singapore and Malaysia in early Jan 2025. Key information of the Study Tour is listed below:

Eligibility	Students from all taught postgraduate programmes centrally managed by the TPO of the Faculty of Business are welcome to participate on a voluntary and fee-paying basis. These programmes include: Master of Accountancy (MAcc) Master of Science in Arts Technology and Business (MScATB) Master of Science in Business Innovation and Entrepreneurship (MScBIE) Master of Science in eBusiness and Supply Chain Management (MSceBSCM) Master of Science in Environmental, Social, and Governance Management (MScESGM) Master of Science in Finance (MFin) Master of Science in Human Resource Management and Organisational Behaviour (MScHRMOB) Master of Science in Marketing and International Business (MScMIB) Master of Science in Risk and Insurance Management (MScRIM)
Date	6 – 11 January 2025 (Monday - Saturday) (both dates inclusive)
Fee	HK$10,000 – HK$13,000 after heavy subsidy by respective programmes. (This fee covers costs of air tickets, hotel of double occupancy, the training programme at the Singapore Management University with a certificate, travel insurance, some meals and local transportation for the scheduled activities. Other meals and transportation are not included. The actual fees depend on the number of participants and the final quotation of the service provider.)
Deposit	HK$8,000 - Non-refundable and non-transferable - Payment of the deposit indicates the commitment to the participation - The deposit payment date will be advised later
Quota	Maximum 50 1. Quotas for each programme are determined based on the proportion of students in each programme to the total number of TPg students of the Faculty of Business. 2. Applications to participate in the study tour will be processed on a lottery basis within the quota set for each program. 3. If one programme does not use up all the quota, it will be allocated to students of other programmes on a lottery basis.
Application Period	10 Oct 2024 (Thursday) 8:00 a.m. to 23 Oct 2024 (Wednesday) 11:45 p.m.

In addition to the enjoyment of your friends and network expansion, a three-day training programme on Digital Transformation in Business at Singapore Management University (SMU) will be included in the study tour. Upon completion of the training programme, students will be awarded a certificate by the SMU. If you are interested in joining the trip, we recommend that you prepare your travel documents in advance. Your passports need to have a minimum of a six-month validity period from the date of arrival in Singapore.

Applicants will be required to settle the deposit payment of HK$8,000 to confirm your participation. The date of the deposit payment will be advised later.

The final confirmation of the Study Trip depends on the number of applications as well as the final confirmation of air tickets and hotel reservations by the appointed travel agency.
