In this seminar, Professor Leng will explore multi-player allocation problems using cooperative game theory, focusing on the almost diminishing marginal contributions (ADMC) property. He will explain how this property influences a player's contributions to coalitions and the conditions for the core’s non-emptiness in ADMC games. Professor Leng will also discuss various applications, including code-sharing and group-buying games, highlighting the implications for allocation methods like the Shapley value.
