TPO Singapore & Malaysia Study Tour 2025/26

Students from all taught postgraduate programmes centrally managed by the TPO of the Faculty of Business are welcome to participate on a voluntary and fee-paying basis. These programmes include:

• Master of Accountancy (MAcc)

• Master of Science in Arts Technology and Business (MScATB)

• Master of Science in Business Innovation and Entrepreneurship (MScBIE)

• Master of Science in eBusiness and Supply Chain Management (MSceBSCM)

• Master of Science in Environmental, Social, and Governance Management (MScESGM)

• Master of Science in Finance (MFin)

• Master of Science in Human Resource and Organisational Management (MScHROM)

• Master of Science in Marketing and International Business (MScMIB)

• Master of Science in Risk, Insurance and Actuarial Analytics (MScRIAA)

• Doctor of Business Studies (DBS)

5 – 10 January 2026 (Monday - Saturday) (both dates inclusive)

HK$9,000 – HK$13,000 after heavy subsidy by respective programmes.
 

(This fee covers costs of air ticket, hotel of double occupancy, training programme at the Singapore Management University (SMU) with certificate, travel insurance, some meals and local transportation for the scheduled activities. Other meals and transportation are not included. The actual fee will depend on the number of participants and the final quotation of the service provider.)

1. the deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable;

2. payment of the deposit indicates commitment to the participation;

3. deposit payment date will be advised later.

Please note the following points:

1. Quotas for each programme are determined based on the proportion of students in each programme to the total number of TPg students of Faculty of Business.

2. Applications to participate in the study tour will be processed on a lottery basis within the quota set for each programme.

3. If one programme does not use up all the quota, it will be allocated to students of other programmes on a lottery basis.

In addition to the enjoyment with your friends and network expansion, a three-day training programme on Digital Transformation in Business in SMU will be included in the study tour. Upon completion of the training programme, students will be awarded a certificate by the SMU.

Interested students are strongly recommended to prepare their travel documents in advance. For entry into Singapore, your passports need to have a minimum of six months validity period from date of arrival in Singapore.
