Update on Congregation and Honorary Presentation Ceremonies

In the wake of the tragic No. 5 alarm fire at Wang Fuk Court in Tai Po, we extend our deepest condolences to all affected, especially the families of those who passed away and those who were injured.

The Honorary Fellowship Presentation Ceremony, originally scheduled for 4 December, and the Honorary Doctorate Conferment Ceremony on 5 December, together with the respective dinners, will be postponed. The University’s Congregation on 4 and 5 December will proceed as scheduled.

In light of this solemn period and out of respect for the deceased, graduates and guests attending the Congregation are kindly reminded to dress in plain, subdued colours and to remain respectful at all times.

We understand that the postponement may affect your arrangements. Further details on the rescheduled ceremonies will be provided as soon as possible.
