Public Lecture - Executive Speakers Series #4 (26 April 2024)

The Taught Postgraduate Programmes Office (TPO) of the Faculty of Business is organizing several executive speakers on various current topics and stories of successful entrepreneurs to broaden your perspectives.

We are very glad to have invited our honourable speakers to our fourth Executive Speaker Series this academic year 2023-24 to be held on 2 6 April 2024, from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm in MBG22:

Mrs. Angel Mak Daley, Deputy Presiding Officer in the Labour Tribunal in Hong Kong, Chairman of the Appeal Tribunal Panel (Buildings) and Council Member of the Lingnan University Hong Kong.

Topic: The differences between Hong Kong common law and China civil law: In theory and practice.

Mrs. Daley is a barrister practicing laws in various civil and criminal matters. She regularly conducts court cases for the Prosecution as well as the Defence in different levels of courts. She was also a deputy presiding officer in the Labour Tribunal in Hong Kong and is now a chairman of the Appeal Tribunal Panel (Buildings) as well as a council member of the Lingnan University Hong Kong.

Mrs. Daley obtained her LLB and LLM from City University and Hong Kong University Hong Kong and her LLB is in Peking University. She is now a PhD candidate in Theology.
