Over 100 students have trained as Wellness Ambassadors to foster community physical and mental health

In 2020, Lingnan University launched the Wellness Ambassador Programme to promote students’ well-being and cultivate a caring attitude to others. Since then, over 100 students from LU and other local universities, a secondary school and from Mainland China, Pakistan and the Netherlands have trained as Wellness Ambassadors. A closing ceremony for the third cohort was held on 13 April.

Hosted by LU’s Wofoo Joseph Lee Consulting and Counselling Psychology Research Centre and sponsored by Wofoo Social Enterprises, the Programme teaches students to understand growth and stress management, and strengthens their mental resilience and counselling skills, aiming to foster a healthier and happier community.
