Lingnan University hosts Distinguished Scholars Seminar Series

Organised by Lingnan University’s School of Graduate Studies, the Distinguished Scholars Seminar Series is taking place between November and December 2023 with world-renowned scholars sharing insights and expertise.

 

Lingnan University hosts Distinguished Scholars Seminar Series

Prof Joshua Mok Ka-ho, Vice-President and Dean of the School of Graduate Studies at Lingnan University, delivers his welcome address.

 

Three productive and successful seminars were hosted on the Lingnan campus on 2, 9, and 15 November, by Prof Diana Laurillard, Professor of Learning with Digital Technology at UCL Knowledge Lab, University College London, UK, Prof Shafiqul Huque, Professor in the Department of Political Science at McMaster University, Canada, and Prof Tristan McCowan, Professor of International Education at the Institute of Education, University College London, UK, respectively.

 

Attended by hundreds of students and faculty members, on-site and online, the three seminars addressed important education and public policies.

 

The series will continue in December with a seminar hosted by Prof Sam Kwong, Associate Vice-President (Strategic Research) and Chair Professor of Computational Intelligence, Lingnan University, on 7 December, and Prof S. Joe Qin, President and Wai Kee Kau Chair Professor of Data Science, Lingnan University, on 13 December.
