The 2024 Academy of International Business (AIB) Asia Pacific Regional Conference took place at Guangdong University of Foreign Studies recently under the theme “Reimagine International Business: Accelerate Growth through Collaboration and Digital Transformation”. Attended by nearly 200 global experts and scholars, the event was chaired by Prof Bradley R. Barnes, President of the AIB Asia Pacific Chapter, and Interim Associate Vice-President (Global Affairs) cum Director of Global Education of Lingnan University, and hosted by Prof Cui Geng, Executive Director of the AIB Asia Pacific Chapter, and Professor of the Department of Marketing and International Business of Lingnan University.
Discussions covered trends and challenges in international business and digital transformation, particularly in the context of the Greater Bay Area initiative, with a focus on the Hong Kong-Mainland Economic Integration Index by Lingnan University. The conference fostered collaboration and enriched dialogues on the future of international business, showcasing Lingnan’s contributions to the field.
