The Master of Housing Policy and Management (MHPM) programme at the School of Graduate Studies (GS) of Lingnan University proudly celebrated its students' outstanding achievements at the Chartered Institute of Housing Asian Pacific Branch (CIHAPB) Annual Dinner held on 3 November 2025.
During this prestigious event, which recognises excellent academic performance in housing management courses across the Asia-Pacific region, graduates He Meixin, Zheng Zhenzhong, and Qian Jierui were singled out from their industry peers and leaders. The Best Student Award was presented to He Meixin, recognising her exceptional academic performance and promising professional future. The team’s collaborative capstone project “The Impact of Social Welfare Facilities on the Rental Levels of Subdivided Units (SDUs)”, supervised by Prof Yau Yung, Associate Dean of the School of Graduate Studies and Professor of Department of Sociology and Social Policy, received the Student Dissertation Award, confirming the programme's commitment to applied research and teamwork.
“We are immensely proud of our students’ achievements,” said Prof Liang Cong, Programme Director of the MHPM programme. “Their success reflects not only their own dedication but also the strength of our practice-oriented training. Our commitment remains to equip future leaders with the skills and foresight to drive meaningful change in the property and asset management sector.”
During the event, the CIHAPB described its forward-looking strategic direction, emphasising low-altitude economics and property management, and highlighting new opportunities at the intersection of technology and community-scale operations.
