236 Lingnan students receive over HK$5.7 million in government scholarships

Dr Sze Chun-fai, the Acting Secretary for Education of the Hong Kong SAR Government, presented certificates to awardees under the HKSAR Government Scholarship Fund (GSF) and the Self-financing Post-secondary Education Fund (SPEF) for the 2025/26 academic year at the GSF and SPEF Joint Scholarship Presentation Ceremony 2026 on 23 April.

 

A total of 236 outstanding students from Lingnan University and the Lingnan Institute of Further Education have been awarded scholarships totalling over HK$5.7 million. The scholarships and awards include the Belt and Road Scholarship, Scholarship for Outstanding Performance, Talent Development Scholarship, Reaching Out Award, and Endeavour Merit Award under the GSF, as well as the Outstanding Performance Scholarship, Best Progress Award, Talent Development Scholarship, Reaching Out Award, and Endeavour Scholarship under the SPEF, recognising Lingnan students’ outstanding performance across many aspects.
