The Lingnan Taekwondo Team claims one gold and four bronze medals at the 2025-26 USFHK Taekwondo Competition
Among the 12 teams, Lingnan University’s Taekwondo team delivers an outstanding performance by winning one gold and four bronze medals.
The 2025-26 USFHK Taekwondo Competition was successfully held on 7 and 8 March. A total of 12 tertiary institutions took part in this year’s competition, including The University of Hong Kong, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, City University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Baptist University, Hong Kong Metropolitan University, Hong Kong Shue Yan University, The Education University of Hong Kong, The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, the Vocational Training Council, and Lingnan University.
Among the 12 teams, Lingnan University’s Taekwondo team delivered an outstanding performance by winning one gold and four bronze medals. Lam Siu Wai claimed the championship in the Women’s Bantam category. Po Hoi Laam J. won bronze in the Women’s Fin category, while Chan Tsz Ying earned bronze in the Women’s Fly category. Lo Ching Ho secured bronze in the Men’s Welter category, and Lee Wai Hang M. took bronze in the Men’s Heavy category.
