Lingnan University showcases AI and Innovative EdTech excellence at Learning & Teaching Expo 2026

Lingnan University is one of the institutional partners of the Learning & Teaching Expo 2026 (LTE), which is taking place from 25 to 27 June 2026 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The LTE is organised by the Smart City Consortium, presented by Hong Kong Education City (EdCity) and supported by the Education Bureau of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China.

The Centre for Innovative Teaching and Learning (CITAL) has set up a booth at the Expo showcasing the innovative educational technologies that have received international recognition and will speak at two pedagogical sharing sessions on AI teaching during the LTE.

Through the leadership of Prof S. Joe Qin, President and Wai Kee Kau Chair Professor of Data Science at Lingnan University, and the support of the University Council, Lingnan University is enhancing digital literacy and fostering a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship among our students, faculty and staff. The Hon Andrew Yao Cho-fai, Chairman of the Council of Lingnan University, and Mr Armstrong Lee, Chairman of Hong Kong Education City, visited the booth on the opening day and praised Lingnan’s efforts to integrate cutting-edge technologies and innovative pedagogies into our teaching and curriculum.

The university's transformation aligns perfectly with LTE’s theme 'Reimagining Education: Human-Centric, Future-Ready', and the ongoing partnership with Hong Kong Education City will offer a revitalised experience for the education community and support HKSAR in its role as a leading international education hub.
