Notes:
- Year 1 Intake in the above refers to the year of admission to Year 1 studies of the BA/BBA/BSocSc/BSc programme. It does not denote the year in which Arts students (who were admitted to the Faculty of Arts) are allocated to the individual Major programmes, which is done in their Year 2. For example, a student admitted to the Faculty of Arts in 2018-19 shall refer to the curriculum for 2018 intake although he/she pursues the Major from 2019-20.
- For a student who is designated as a Year 2 or Year 3 student upon admission, he/she should follow the programme structure of his/her peers, except otherwise specified. For example, a student admitted as a Year 2 student in 2022-23 should follow the programme structure of 2021 Year 1 intake, whereas a student admitted as a Year 3 student in 2022-23 should follow the programme structure of 2020 Year 1 intake. Listing out Year 3 intake in the above table does not mean the programme admits Year 3 students in that particular academic year.
- Notwithstanding point 2 above, for a student who is designated as a Year 3 student upon admission in 2019-20, he/she should follow the revised Core Curriculum and the revamped English Language Enhancement (ELE) Curriculum. For a student directly admitted to Year 2 in 2019-20, he or she should follow the revamped ELE curriculum. For details, please refer to https://www.ln.edu.hk/reg/undergraduate-programmes/core-curriculum and https://www.ln.edu.hk/reg/undergraduate-programmes/english-language-enhancement-ele-curriculum respectively.
