Lingnan University participates in Bao’an Collaboration Forum

LU was invited to join a Bao’an Collaboration Forum on 3 August 2023 to explore a potential association with the Bureau and with other institutions and companies which were also present. Lingnan was the only Hong Kong university being invited for the event.

 

LU was also nominated as one of the six outstanding organisations working with the Bureau and striving to improve cooperation in the Greater Bay Area.

 

LU is the first local university to set up a talent training base with the Shenzhen Bao’an District Human Resources Bureau to encourage and assist young people to seek employment and start businesses in the Greater Bay Area, and offer LU students first-hand information about employment, support and entrepreneurship policies in the Bao’an internship scheme, which  covers government departments, government-owned enterprises, the private sector, financial organisations, international businesses, and China-overseas joint ventures in the GBA, and provides access to the co-working office at the Bao’an Talent Service Centre.

 

LU and the Shenzhen Bao’an District Human Resources Bureau signed the cooperation
framework agreement, and the plaque marking the “Shenzhen-Hong Kong Youth Talent
Training Practice Base” was unveiled on the LU campus in April 2023.
