Three Lingnan students receive the WeCan Scholarship 2024

Lingnan University is proud to announce that three undergraduates have been awarded the prestigious WeCan Scholarship 2024. This scholarship provides grants for students to pursue local bachelor's degree programmes. The scholarship recipients are:
Cai Yuncheng (Year 1, Social and Public Policy Studies)
Lau Pok-to (Year 1, History)
Pang Nap-shan (Year 1, Film and Visual Arts)
This year, the WeCan Scholarship has been awarded to 86 high school graduates from Hong Kong. Each one will receive HK$100,000 over four years, which will help alleviate their financial burden and enable them to focus on their academic pursuits.
Furthermore, all past scholarship recipients will join the WeCan Alumni network, where members take part in various activities and community service projects for the Project WeCan initiative. This helps expand their social networks, and creates occasions to give back to society.
Launched in 2011, Project WeCan is a Business-in-Community initiative that offers disadvantaged students opportunities and support, allowing them to pursue higher education and more promising future careers.
