Best teaching and learning experience and start-up engagement at Lingnan

The University Grants Committee (UGC) recently announced the “University Accountability Agreements” for 2022-2025 Triennium. Based on various performance indicators, Lingnan University ranks top among Hong Kong’s eight public universities in terms of “Undergraduate satisfaction with the quality and value gained from their teaching and learning experience” (3.93 / 5) and ‘’Student engagement in start-ups and entrepreneurship’’ (22.6%). This marks the best rating for Lingnan’s excellence in teaching and learning in local universities again, following the highest score received for teaching and learning satisfaction in 2019.

Furthermore, in the annual survey, Lingnan students expressed satisfaction with their experiential learning experience in the Greater Bay Area, the overall learning environment, and the research postgraduate experience - we came 3rd among UGC-funded universities. 

Looking forward, Lingnan will continue to promote diverse learning opportunities that integrate the arts and sciences to meet societal needs. We endeavour to equip students with the skills and knowledge to shine internationally in the digital era, enhancing the “Study in Hong Kong” brand and propelling Hong Kong into an educational hub in the region.
