Lingnan and NVIDIA Unite for Groundbreaking HPC Week
When it comes to High-Performance Computing (HPC), people immediately think of NVIDIA - the global AI powerhouse - and its founder Jensen Huang, known for his iconic black leather jacket. More than just a fashion statement, that jacket symbolises Huang’s resolute pursuit of innovation, speed, and breakthroughs. Now, that same spirit is set to enrich Lingnan University.
To celebrate the official launch of its first HPC Data Centre, Lingnan HPC NexT, during Digital Universities Asia 2025, where Dr. Simon See, the Global Head for NVIDIA AI Technology Center, is one of the speakers, and to support this flagship event of Times Higher Education (THE) held at Lingnan University, Lingnan University’s Information Technology Services Centre (ITSC) and the NVIDIA AI Technology Center (HK) will host the inaugural HPC Week from 7 to 11 July. There will be a boot camp, an introduction to the NVIDIA Deep Learning Institute, and workshops led by NVIDIA AI experts, which will all inspire Lingnan students and staff to explore new frontiers in computing and research.

Meanwhile, Times Higher Education (THE) will host its signature event, Digital Universities Asia 2025, on the Lingnan campus on 8 and 9 July.
