Dinner for Graduating Students to celebrate the new chapter in life

This year marks the 21st anniversary of the Dinner for Graduating Students, a fine tradition of Lingnan University. Over 300 graduating students, staff and guests of Lingnan gathered at Kowloon Shangri-La Hong Kong on 23 May to celebrate the new chapter in life of graduating students.  

Apart from sending their best wishes to the graduates, Chairman of the Council Mr Rex Auyeung Pak-kuen and President Professor Leonard K Cheng encouraged them to become ambassadors of Lingnan by demonstrating critical thinking and creativity, which are the unique values of liberal arts education, as well as respecting different opinions when facing conflicting views. They also encouraged the students to seek the right direction in their life. Chairman of Lingnan University Alumni Association (Hong Kong) Dr William Leung also urged graduating students to actively participate in alumni activities and stay connected with their alma mater. 

Lingnan’s band “Aurora” expressed their congratulations to the graduating students through their amazing performances. It was truly a joyous and unforgettable evening!
