Lingnan University and A Plastic Ocean Foundation co-host the ESG and Sustainability Carnival to build a green campus
Representatives from Lingnan University with the Lingnan Green Ambassadors and representatives of the event partners.
The Office of Student Affairs at Lingnan University, in collaboration with the A Plastic Ocean Foundation, organised the ESG and Sustainability Carnival on 7 and 8 November 2024 on campus. The event aimed to deepen the understanding of students and staff regarding community projects related to environmental, social, and governance (ESG), encouraging everyone to practise green living on campus and build a sustainable community.
The carnival received support from various non-governmental organisations. In addition to booth games, interactive activities, and recycling collection points, two key activities - the "Green Skills Workshop" and the “Industrial Talk - Innovating Sustainability: Strategies and Talent Development” - engaged many students to learn about sustainable development strategies and industry information.
