Lingnan Fellow Prof Alain Bensoussan wins 2024 IEEE Control Systems Award

Congratulations! Prof Alain Bensoussan, a Lingnan Fellow at the Lingnan University Institute for Advanced Study (LUIAS), has received the 2024 IEEE Control Systems Award, presented at the 2024 Conference on Decision and Control held in Milan, Italy. Prof Bensoussan is known for his “fundamental contributions to stochastic control, control-theoretic methods in management and finance, and impactful leadership of scientific and engineering organisations.”

Prof Bensoussan is the Lars Magnus Ericsson Chair and the Director of International Centre for Decision and Risk Analysis (ICDRiA) at the University of Texas at Dallas, and was made a Lingnan Fellow in March 2024.
