LU holds International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Big Data Applications

Lingnan University organised the two-day “International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Big Data Applications” (AIBD) from 19 to 20 July, gathering experts in the field to discuss the latest knowledge and research trends in AIBD and their domain-specific applications.

 

The conference aims to enhance the standards and external competitiveness of Hong Kong information and communications technology (ICT) professionals by providing them with information relating to the application of artificial intelligence and big data. Over 150 students, scholars and professionals joined the event to exchange their valuable insights.

 

It was funded by Professional Services Advancement Support Scheme (PASS) of Commerce and Economic Development Bureau, the Government of Hong Kong SAR, and organised by Prof Xie Haoran, Prof Wong Man-leung and Dr Rosiah Ho Wing of the Department of Computing and Decision Sciences, and LEO Dr David P Chan Institute of Data Science of LU, with support by School of Graduate Studies and MScAIBA Office of LU, and IEEE Hong Kong Section Computer Society Chapter.
