Guangzhou Baiyun District CPPCC delegation visits Lingnan University

The Guangzhou Baiyun District Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) delegation, comprised of 8 members, paid a visit to Lingnan University on 26 September 2023. During the visit, they engaged in fruitful discussions with Mr Michael Hui Wah-kit, Council member and Chairman of the Committee on LU’s Mainland Development of Lingnan University, the Office of Mainland Development (OMD), and the Office of Institutional Advancement and Public Affairs (OIAPA) to gain insights into the latest developments at Lingnan University.

 

This exchange serves to strengthen the ties between Lingnan University and its partners within the Greater Bay Area, expanding the collaborative networks. The CPPCC members of the Guangzhou Baiyun District took part in a campus tour organised by the OIAPA. They visited the Lingnan Entrepreneurship Initiative office, the science laboratory, and the Lingnan University Jockey Club Gerontech-X Lab to learn about Lingnan's innovative humanitarian technology inventions, conservation of Hong Kong's biodiversity, and efforts in promoting smart ageing and gerontech products.
