Lingnan student entrepreneur one of Top 10 Outstanding Tertiary Students in Hong Kong 2023

Organised by the Hong Kong Youth and Tertiary Students Association, the Top 10 Outstanding Tertiary Students Election in Hong Kong 2023 recognises talented tertiary students with a strong commitment to serving Hong Kong society and contributing to national development, while fostering their whole person development and enhancing their sense of national identity.

 

At the presentation ceremony on 17 September, Eddie Chan Kong-man, a Year-4 Lingnan University student taking a BLA (Hons) in Global Development and Sustainability, was selected as one of the Top 10 Outstanding Tertiary Students in Hong Kong 2023 for his entrepreneurial acumen as Founder of the GreenOne International Group Limited in Nansha of Guangzhou, China.

 

Earlier this year, Eddie and Dr Jim Lai, Chairman of Fusion Bank and Council Member of Lingnan University, discussed the development of fintech, the Greater Bay Area, liberal arts education, and career aspirations (please visit HERE to read the interview, in Chinese only).

 

Each awardee receives a trophy and a certificate, as well as a cash award of HK$10,000 and other prizes. Awardees are also offered opportunities to join organised visits and other activities.
