Lingnan University has officially opened applications for its undergraduate programmes for the 2027/28 academic year. Both Chinese Mainland Gaokao candidates and students holding international qualifications may submit their applications through the University’s online system (https://apply.ln.edu.hk/).
Lingnan offers more than 25 undergraduate programmes across the Faculty of Arts, the Faculty of Business, the Faculty of Social Sciences, the School of Data Science, and the Wu Jieh Yee School of Interdisciplinary Studies. The University integrates a diverse liberal arts educational model, including a broad-based curriculum with small classes, vibrant residential campus life and extracurricular activities, community service initiatives, and global learning opportunities. Lingnan is committed to nurturing research-oriented talent equipped with a broad vision, independent thinking, a strong sense of social responsibility, and sound judgement.
School of Data Science launches a new double degree programme
Starting from September 2027, the Faculty of Business and the School of Data Science will offer a joint brand-new self-financed double degree
programme, the Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) — Finance and Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Innovative Design and Artificial Intelligence. Blending knowledge across finance, artificial intelligence, data science, and innovative design, the programme is dedicated to nurturing versatile, interdisciplinary talent required by the market. Spanning four years, it offers greater time efficiency than traditional five-year double degree programmes, enabling students to concurrently earn two undergraduate degrees upon completing 150 credits.
Additionally, the School of Data Science will offer a new self-financed programme, the Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Innovative Design and
Artificial Intelligence, which deeply integrates innovative design thinking, human-computer interaction, and systems engineering. The programme is dedicated to cultivating exceptional talent equipped with both professional technical proficiency and humanistic design thinking.
