New appointment and re-appointments to the Council and the Court

The following appointment / re-appointments to the Council and the Court of the University have been made recently with effect from 1 August 2017.

New appointment to the Council

• Mr Augustine Lui Ngok-che as a member of the Council for a term of three years.

Re-appointments to the Council

• Dr David Chan Pun as a member of the Council for a term of one year.
• Dr Thelma Tong as a member of the Council for a term of three years.

Re-appointment to the Court

• Dr Ian Chan Yau-nam as a member of the Court for a term of three years.

The University extends warm welcome to Mr Lui as a new member of the Council, and expresses its deepest thanks to Mr Ernest Chiu Tin-chung, outgoing Council member, for his invaluable contributions to the Council and the development of the University in the past years.
