- Event Highlights
Issue No. 83 Dec 2018
The Taught Postgraduate Programmes Office (TPgPo) hosted the “TPg Sports Games Day 2018/19” on 1 November at the Jackie Chan Gymnasium on campus. Over 200 staff and students joined the event and participated in the four games, including 4 Persons 5 Legs, Table Tennis Steeplechase, Badminton Relay Race and Rope Skipping. The highlight of the event was the Rope Skipping which adopted a “5X Combo Point” scoring method, enabling the team of Master of Accountancy (MAcc) to turn the table and win the champion. The Master of Science in eBusiness and Supply Chain Management (MSceBSCM) and the Master of Science in Marketing and International Business (MScMIB) grasped the first and second runner-ups respectively.
At the Best Cheerleading Show Time, with their enthusiastic performances in boosting the atmosphere, the Master of Science in eBusiness and Supply Chain Management (MSceBSCM) and the Master of Science in Human Resource Management and Organisational Behaviour (MscHRMOB) were both awarded the best cheerleading teams.
Filled with laughter and fun, the TPg Sports Games Day 2018/19 successfully promoted sportsmanship and enhanced collaborations amongst different taught postgraduate programmes.
