Batangas Philippines Service-Learning Tour 2025

During the Summer Term of 2024/25, WBLMP offered MPA2002 Musicality and Well-being, and have successfully organized an overseas trip to Batangas, Philippines in collaboration with the Office of Service-Learning (OSL). We aim to provide undergraduate students with the opportunity to learn and apply their skills for the betterment of society, as well as to foster and promote a positive relationship between the arts and wellbeing.

After receiving intensive training in Lingnan campus, our students went to Batangas from 27 May to 9 June. In Batangas, Lingnan students exchange with students from Batangas State University (BSU) in preparation for the upcoming service-learning project, where they will be conducting music workshops in local day care centers that serve the local under-privileged community, and children who have never get in touch with music before.
