LU’s Age-friendly CNY Mass Painting Event sets new Guinness World Record in colouring Drago Cavallo

The Age-friendly CNY Mass Painting Event organised by the Jockey Club Age-friendly City Project professional support team of Lingnan University and the DC Charity Foundation was held on 28 January, bringing positive energy to children who need special care and attention through arts activities with the Drago Cavallo as guardian angel.

Eighty-three Age-friendly City Project Ambassadors and 30 teenagers expressed creativity by colouring Drago Cavallo sculptures, setting a Guinness World Record for the “Drago Cavallo. Travel around the World” tour, spreading love and care through the arts on the seventh day of the Lunar New Year, Renri, which is everyone’s birthday, and fostering intergenerational harmony. The event included a lantern riddle game booth, a photo booth, and a Wishing Tree, with honoured guests writing on fai chun to cast festive joy.

After being professionally judged, their painted Drago Cavallos may be displayed on the tour, which goes on to Shanghai, Beijing, and the Vatican.
