Lingnan University is holding an exhibition of the books of Prof Joseph Lau, world-renowned scholar, translator, essayist and outstanding Lingnanian, who passed away on 4 January 2023.
The exhibition, held in the University's library from 11 February to 10 March, is dedicated to the University’s collection of his publications, and valuable volumes are on loan from Prof Lau’s friends, students and others.
On 11 February, the Department of Chinese held a memorial service at the Chan Tak Tai Auditorium for Prof Lau, attended by his friends, colleagues, students and the general public.
