Lingnan scientist Prof Tang Xiaopeng wins the Best Paper Prize

Prof Tang Xiaopeng, Assistant Professor of the Science Unit at Lingnan University, was awarded the Best Paper Prize for his research paper "Lifespan-based Battery Classification towards Second-life Utilization" at the 25th IEEE-China Conference on System Simulation Technology and its Applications (CCSSTA 2024). The conference was held from 21 to 23 July 2024 in Tianjin.

Prof Tang's research interests are in modelling and control of energy storage systems. He is also one of the Lingnan Scholars on World’s Top 2% Scientists by Stanford University and was awarded Best Annual Paper prize from the world-leading Elsevier journal eTransportation last year, which has an Impact Factor of 15.0 this year.
