NSO 2023 - New Students (Type B)
New Students (Admitted between 23 August 2023, 12:00 and 6 September 2023)
Students who are admitted between 23 August 2023, 12:00 noon and 6 September 2023 should:
- complete the online M1 programmes (Item 1 – 16) by 30 September 2023; and
- complete the online M2 programmes (Item 17 – 20) by 30 September 2023; and
- attend the face-to-face Campus Life Carnival on 7 September 2023.
Attendance and ILP units
New students who have completed the below NSO 2023 Programmes by 30 September 2023 will be granted 15 ILP units. If the full set of the below programmes are not completed, students will be required to make up the 15 ILP units during their course of study.
Collection of LU Card (Student ID Card) and Hostel Check-in
Students who are unable to attend the NSO on 25 August 2023 should collect their LU Card (Student ID card) at Registry (ADG08, Wong Administration Building Lingnan University) from 28 August 2023 onwards during the office hours (Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 12:30 and 13:30 – 17:36) before they visit their corresponding hostel for check-in. Student residents should download LU Mobile app and login with your Lingnan account. You may check your room allocation from “Student Affairs” > “Hostel Allocation Result”. Please refer to the Hostel Check-in Procedures at https://www.ln.edu.hk/osa/hostel/application for details.

NOTE: Item 2 "The LU Mobile Apps" and Item 11 "Lingnan Campus Tour" require 100% as passing grade. Students are required to fulfill “PASS” in all online quizzes in order to earn the ILP units, students need to complete 1 question for acknowledgment.
