Lingnan University and Sun Yat-sen University renew five-year partnership agreement in Psychology

Lingnan University and Sun Yat-sen University (SYSU) renewed a five-year partnership agreement in the field of psychology on 15 January, marking a new chapter in their collaboration. The agreement aims to enhance academic exchanges in psychology between the two universities, further strengthening their cooperation and increasing psychology research.

 

The signing ceremony was held at Lingnan, where Prof Siu Oi-ling, Head of the Department of Psychology at Lingnan, and Prof Zuo Bin, Head of the Department of Psychology at SYSU, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective institutions. Prof Joshua Mok Ka-ho, Vice-President and Dean of the School of Graduate Studies, and Prof William Hayward, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences of Lingnan, delivered speeches, and witnessed the ceremony with Prof Pan Jing, Associate Head of the Department of Psychology at SYSU, after which faculty members from both universities discussed collaborative opportunities.

 

Both universities can now further integrate their research and educational resources and strengths in psychology. This platform for mutual learning and sharing among faculty and students creates more opportunities for joint research, student exchanges and training, and other academic development, fostering outstanding scholars and industry professionals for the nation.
