Lingnan University and University of Leicester jointly offer Double-Master Degree Programme

Lingnan University and the University of Leicester in the UK jointly offer a double-master degree programme: MSc in International Banking and Finance (Lingnan University) – MSc Financial Economics / MSc Banking and Finance / MSc Business Analysis and Finance (University of Leicester) starting from this academic year. This is Lingnan University’s latest advancement in its effort to broaden international collaboration in postgraduate education.

The agreement on the collaboration was signed by Prof Joshua Mok Ka-ho, Vice-President of Lingnan University and Prof Paul Boyle, President and Vice-Chancellor, University of Leicester on 26 September at the University of Leicester.

“With a strong commitment to further enhance international learning and research collaboration, Lingnan University is actively seeking strategic partnership with leading universities for enhancing postgraduate studies and international research collaboration. Lingnan is delighted to enter into a new cooperation with University of Leicester which is an important move towards this commitment,” said Prof Mok.

The University of Leicester was founded as Leicestershire and Rutland University College in 1921 and has established itself as a leading research-led university.  The University has consistently ranked among the top 25 universities in the UK by the Times Good University Guide and was named the University of the Year of 2008 by the Times Higher Education.  The 2012 QS World University Rankings also placed Leicester 8th in the UK for research citations.
