Lingnan joins Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau University Alliance

After a year of preparation, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau University Alliance (GHMA) was officially launched on 15 November at Sun Yat-sen University, Guangzhou China, with 26 higher education institutions from Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau joined as founding members, including Lingnan University.


Prof Joshua Mok Ka-ho, Vice-President of Lingnan University joined the founding ceremony of the Alliance together with representatives of eight other universities in Hong Kong, including The City University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Baptist University, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, The Education University of Hong Kong, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, The Open University of Hong Kong and The University of Hong Kong.


With the launch of the Alliance, partnering institutions are expected to develop deeper cooperation across the region, fostering more student and staff exchanges, as well as collaboration in academic and research programmes.
