How to Do?

Before changing your password

There are a number of things that you need to be aware of before changing the password.

  • You must restart your computer for password synchronization for services such as Microsoft Outlook.
  • A new password will change it on all of our systems (Wi-Fi, email, myLingnan Portal, etc.), but will not change it on your devices.
  • You need to make sure you have changed your password:
    • on any devices that connect to the Wi-Fi, such as a laptop, tablet or mobile phone
    • any email accounts that you have set up on your mobile devices
    • any web browsers that have remembered the password

Start changing your password

1. Access Self-Service Password Management Portal via

2. Enter your username and the code showed in the textbox and click "Next".

3. Click "Change Password"

4. Enter your existing password and click "Next"

5. Type in the new password twice. The password needs to follow the rules highlighted below. Click "Confirm" to proceed.

6. When password is changed successfully, emails will be sent to both your Lingnan email and personal email.
