The Hon Andrew Yao Cho-fai, SBS, JP, Chairman of the Council; and Prof the Hon Lau Chi-pang, SBS, JP, Special Advisor to President on Publicity cum Director of Communications and Public Affairs, have been awarded the Silver Bauhinia Star.
The Hong Kong SAR Government has announced the 2026 Honours List and Justices of the Peace appointments. A number of Lingnan University members have been awarded honours or appointed as Justices of the Peace in recognition of their valuable contributions to public and community service.
Among them, the Hon Andrew Yao Cho-fai, SBS, JP, Chairman of the Council; and Prof the Hon Lau Chi-pang, SBS, JP, Special Advisor to President on Publicity cum Director of Communications and Public Affairs, have been awarded the Silver Bauhinia Star. Mr Lam Lo, BBS, JP, Member of the Council and the Court; Prof William Shum Wai-lam, JP, Member of the Council have been appointed Justices of the Peace by the Chief Executive.
