To mark the grand finale of its JUPAS Summer Festival series, Lingnan University hosted a special screening of The Way We Talk —a local production about the deaf and hard-of-hearing community—under the theme of “Society and Us”. The film screening was followed by a dialogue between Mr Adam Wong Sau-ping, producer, screenwriter, and director, and Ms Jacqueline Liu, producer, who joined Prof Lisa Leung Yuk-ming, Associate Professor of the Department of Cultural Studies, and Prof Enoch Tam Yee-lok, Research Assistant Professor of the Department of Digital Arts and Creative Industries, to enhance secondary students’ and the public’s understanding of social issues.
By screening "The Way We Talk" , Lingnan University strengthens social awareness in secondary students and the public, and offers DSE candidates a reassuring opportunity to unwind and prepare for their university studies.
