Lingnan hosts whole person education consultation

Organised by the United Board for Christian Higher Education in Asia (UBCHEA), the consultation entitled “Whole Person Education as a Way Forward: Challenges and Prospects for Asia” was held at Lingnan from 8 to 9 September. The consultation, attended by President Leonard K Cheng and Vice-President Joshua Mok Ka-ho, as well as 15 senior management members from Asian universities with Christian background and 13 staff members from UBCHEA discussed the challenges to higher education today in the Asian context, the perspectives of humanities, institutional models for promotion, digital classroom, evaluation and assessment on educational outcomes, and institutional best practices of whole person development. The consultation has drawn up goals for whole person development in Asia for the next decade.
