1) Important Dates of Academic Year 2021-22

At Lingnan University, the academic year consists of two terms, Term 1 and Term 2 and Summer School. Term 1 and Term 2 covering approximately 15 weeks of academic activities while Summer School is from early June to early August.

20 May End of Residential Term (students must move out from hostels by noon; students may apply for Summer Hostel in April 2022)

 

 


2) Friendly Reminders for New Non-local Students when they plan their travel to Hong Kong

Non-local students are advised to consider and plan their trip to Hong Kong carefully. Please check the state of your city such as any lockdown restriction or suspension of international flights. Please stay tuned for the quarantine requirements implemented by the HKSAR Government before you travel to Hong Kong.

Under “Vaccine Bubble” concept implemented by the HKSAR Government, you should follow the boarding and quarantine requirements for person arriving at Hong Kong. The compulsory quarantine requirements imply to people who are fully vaccinated or not fully vaccinated are different. You have to reserve off-campus accommodation for completing the compulsory quarantine before you travel to Hong Kong. The availability of and expense on the off-campus accommodation should be taken into consideration in your plan.
